The North
of Market/Tenderloin Community Benefit District, in celebration of the opening of its new offices, is pleased to announce
an exhibition of paintings and drawings by Patricia Araujo and photography by Mark Ellinger. Featuring new work by both artists,
the show is a tribute to the beauty and splendor of decaying and abandoned architecture and iconic City landmarks that distinguish
the Tenderloin, mid-Market Street and Sixth Street/SoMa. The opening will coincide with the release of Patricia's book, SOMA
SEEN, featuring drawings and paintings of South of Market architecture, and Up from the Deep Part Two: Mid-Market
Street, the first published volume of Mark's Hotel Project. To learn more about the artists and their work,
please visit their websites:
Abstract Metropolis (Patricia Araujo)
Up from the Deep: The Hotel Project (Mark Ellinger).
